Anthony Travalgia: Would you rather... Would you rather sign Tuukka Rask to an extension, or let him play out his contract year?

Take the top teams from each conference and let’s have a Stanley Cup Rematch!!!!

I love the Bruins. Chara, Bergeron, Marchand, krecji, and others are great. Blues will take it again if the season is allowed to continue

Bruins ARE my team in the East. But I Bleed BLUE

sign him now, 5 at 38-40, there's no one to replace him and he's playing at a vezina level right now.

I'm in. No fans, closed buildings, rake in huge bucks for commercials with no other sports. Rematch, lets start a petition.

I'm out, both teams need to earn the right to hoist the cup by beating three other teams in their conference first.

I’d try to keep Rask if he’s amenable to a 3 year deal. Prolly want 4. Binnington will be off the table. Can’t see the Blues let him go.

To answer the Rask question without knowing the term and cost is impossible. If 3 years...maybe 4, at a reasonable hit of 6 or 7 million....ya, I think so.

But if wants 5 or 6...and north of 7 million....no way.

I think you need to know the numbers first before you can even begin to answer such a question. Bruins might only wanna give him 3 years...another team may offer him 6. It MAY be his last contract, I guess he wants to maximize. So many variables, but simply put, if short enough term and reasonable money...get him signed. He is a legit #1.

See what he does next season. Nobody should sign anybody until this virus situation plays out. No one knows what anyone's health status is going to be.

No way he accepts 3 years or < 7M. Maybe 3 years if it was in the neighborhood of 8M. There WILL be a team out there that will over 4 years and > 7M.

I’m not too worried about Rask. I have a feeling the team will sign him to a solid deal, goalies are generally easy to deal with.

I’d love to do an in depth look at Krug though. What’s he worth? Is he too important to the room to lose? Can Gryz run the PP? This is gonna be one of the most polarizing FA situations the B’s have had in a while. I believe Krugs talent is replaceable, but idk if his character is. He means a ton to that locker room

I was planning on using the Krug situation as my next would you rather. Keep an eye open for it in the next few days!
